Subject :
Switching back and forth to get the video on VE809

Description :

I connected a DVD player and a set-top box as inputs, and then one TV as a display. When I switch to the set-top box, the audio follows immediately but nothing shows on the screen. To get video, I have to switch back and forth several times.

Solution :

The issue is most likely caused by a HDCP [High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection] compatibility issue. In order to play HDCP content, you will need HDCP compliance from the transmitter to the receiver. If you connect a source or display that is not HDCP compliant, you may encounter video display issues. For your issue, we suggest adding a HDCP decoding device between the source device and VE809.

Note: If you still have any video issues, please contact ATEN Tech support.
