How many CC2000 Primary and Secondary servers will I need for six different branch offices? |

If a VPN Infrastructure is ready in the 6 branch offices:
KN2116A switches are installed in each branch office separately.
All KN2116A switches can be added to a CC2000 Primary or Secondary no matter where the CC2000 server is located.
We suggest using at least one CC2000 Primary and one CC2000 Secondary for redundancy.
If each (6) branch office is independent:
The KN2116A’s cannot be added to CC2000 servers that are not located at the local site.
Each branch needs a CC2000 to play a VPN role from the local site. Proxy Port is designed with the CC2000 Server for this purpose.
1 CC2000 Primary and 5 CC2000 Secondaries in total can be installed across the branch offices. This solution is partially redundant.
If a KVM switch fails under this setup, you would not be able to access the devices connected to the one which failed.
For a fully redundant CC2000 solution, you would need to use 1 Primary and 11 CC2000 Secondary servers. That is, two CC2000 servers installed in each branch office. |
