Apple introduces a new security mechanism in macOS High Sierra 10.13 that requires a user’s approval before loading any third-party kernel extensions (drivers). Several ATEN software drivers are impacted by this new macOS feature. If you are using macOS 10.13 or later version, you may refer to the following steps to approve the drivers: 1. Plug in the device to your Mac 2. Install the device's driver 3. You will receive an alert message “System Extension Blocked” 4. Click “ok” 5. Approve the software: Apple icon -> System Preference -> Security & Privacy -> Unlock plan by click the LOCK icon at the left bottom -> Allow the software which is listed there
