	VM0404H - Display Response Time in Port Switch

Description :
	The screens will display stock prices and we need to switch the inputs in each 5 seconds. Is the transition from input A to input B seamless, or will it include some delay or blank screen? If so, how much time will the screen spend showing blank screen? We plan to use the serial port to control the VM0404H.

Solution :
	Response time almost decides on different HDMI sources. Supposedly, there is no VM0404H in the scenario and we hot plug/unplug one HDMI player into Monitor with HDMI interface. How much response time is needed? Around 7 ~ 10 seconds response time when we see the display shown in the Monitor. In the same way, VM0404H is a HDMI video matrix switch and a response time is obvious and necessary. It is not mainly caused from VM0404H. In our experience, Philips HDMI media player and Sony PS3 need 7 seconds when we do the source selection with the same monitor. Its response time is close to HDMI hot plug/unplug behavior.
