Subject :
CN8000 Virtual media on Windows Vista OS
Description :
I can't perform Virtual media data transfers with Windows Vista. How can I fix this?
Solution :
An "administrator" logged into Vista doesn't necessarily have administrator's privileges when double clicking a shortcut or executable file to run an application. When you run the CN8000 AP you must right click the shortcut or executable file and select "run as administrator" to open it with administrator's privileges. This will resolve virtual media “administrative” issues when transferring data.
[Hint]
1. For CN8000 AP, the "administrator" right click the AP and select: "run as administrator".
2. For ActiveX Internet Explorer logins, right click the IE icon and select: "run as administrator".
