The attached video demonstrates how to us SSH to verify the VK2100 status.
Start by adding a link to access a third party SSH client (example – Putty) in Configurator.
Add the path from configurator to Putty; this gives access to the client from Configurator \ Tools \ SSH Client.
Default account and password for VK2100 log in from SSH is “password”
There are 4 commands available: help, info, status, and reboot
1-Help – Displays all available commands
2-Info - Displays the current VK2100 setting information such as IP address, MAC address, License
availability, firmware version, I/O and relay status.
Note: when you issue “status”, the SSH client is monitoring the VK2100.
In the example a serial command is sent from Serial port 1, and then IR port 1 then an IR
signal, etc.
3- Reboot – issues a reboot command to the VK2100
