keyboard and mouse fail with SUN |

| Description : |

1. Configuration: Sun U45 OS - Solaris and IBM T42p
Problem: after reboot of Sun, Sun lost keyboard and mouse and we had to reboot it again with directly connected keyboard and mouse.
2. Configuration: Sun U40 OS RedHat and IBM T41p.
Problem: 1 same as the first case
2 KVM switched to Windows, Windows notified “unknown device detected” and lost keyboard.
3. Configuration: IBM X41 with docking station.
Problem: after undocking and docking, mouse continued to work while keyboard was disconnected, until I connected it directly.
How to solve thoses issues ? |

| Solution : |

1. Using Num Lock + "-" + F3 for setting that port to SUN mode then reboot it for test again.
2-1. Using Num Lock + "-" + F3 for setting that port to SUN mode then reboot it to test again.
2-2. Try to remove the keyboard and mouse from the CS62U then reboot the windows for detect CS62U again.
3. Try to remove the docking station and connect with IBM X41 directly for testing. If it works fine, it might be a compatibility issue with your docking station. |
