	Channel ID and Port ID

Description :
	What is different between Channel ID and Port ID ?

Solution :
	Port ID is the physical port on the CM1164 numbered 1- 4 ; Channel ID is a quadrant on the monitor lettered A – D ; A is on the top left and D is on the lower right. Any single port may be assigned to any single channel. Please see the CM1164 -manual page 37 for details, the channels are hard coded to their screen positions.
