Can I use RJ45 surge protector with VE066?

I try an RJ45 surge protector with clamping voltage of 80V, but the video signal could not get through.

if I change to use an RJ45 surge protector with clamping voltage of 60V. Will it work?

When using this kind of RJ45 surge protector in between, there will be signal attenuation no matter what voltage you're using. 

It's better to use surge protector between outlets and source.  Please also note that well grounding of the building must be done.
