Subject :
Displayport & HDCP

Description :
Does Displayport KVMs support HDCP functionality?

Solution :

Regardless of the DisplayPort version HDCP is passed untouched through the KVM to the display.

When the source delivers a video signal containing HDCP1.x or 2.x through the KVM to a display, the HDCP is simply passed through the KVM by DPCP (DisplayPort Content Protection) to the display.

Note: The display handles HDCP for displaying not the KVMs.
