How to connect RS232 via the extender?

1. PC --> NULL modem --> TV

in this case you might have to use 2 NULL modem cables as below

PC --> NULL modem --> VE814T --> Cat5e --> VE814R --> NULL modem --> TV

2. PC --> Straight Cable --> TV

in this case you might have to use 1 NULL modem cable and 1 Straight cable as below

PC --> NULL modem --> VE814T --> Cat5e --> VE814R --> Straight Cable --> TV
