Can the VE200 RS232 connection timeout be changed? |

| Solution : |
|
There are three modes of timeout for RS-232 connection of VE200.
They are activated by pressing the Local RS-232 button for 5 seconds
to change modes.
1. The Local RS-232 LED will flash twice for a 3 second timeout mode.
2. The Local RS-232 LED will flash three times for a 30 second timeout mode.
3. The Local RS-232 LED will flash six times for 30 seconds timeout mode.
Note
1. The Serial connecting/disconnecting OSD message will only be displayed while connecting/disconnecting from the REMOTE RS-232.
2. The Local RS-232 LOCK will place the Local RS-232 in Full Duplex mode while the Remote RS-232 will only receive data.
3. Remote RS-232 LOCK will place the Remote RS-232 in Full Duplex mode while the Local RS-232 will only receive data.
