The transmitter may be placed anywhere within the home or the same room as the receiver [within 30m / 100ft]. The transmitter can function properly inside many cabinets dependent on the cabinet’s materials – wood rather than metal.
Please note:
Wireless signals are able to penetrate walls made of standard drywall/gypsum board with wood framing. Walls made of concrete, brick, cinder block, steel and water (such as aquariums) may degrade the wireless signal. |
