ATEN's Response Regarding the Apache Log4j Vulnerability:
Regarding the recently published vulnerability in Apache Log4j
(CVE-2021-44228), ATEN is releasing an update to its UPS ViewPower software
to address a potential concern.
We suggest the following actions to be taken:
ViewPower software used for listed UPS product series:
OL1000HV, OL15000HV, OL2000HV, OL3000HV, OL1000LV, OL15000LV, OL2000LV,
Option #1: Now -- Manually download the currently available patch file.
Please visit the product page/support and downloads section.
Option #2: In Two Weeks -- ATEN will provide fully updated firmware
versions for these models
Note: Once the updated firmware becomes available in two weeks, the patch
file will become obsolete.
Other ATEN products are not affected. We will keep monitoring the issue and
if there are any concerns related to ATEN’s products, we will provide an
update immediately. Should you have more questions, please contact ATEN
